Talent Competition

San Diego Tamil Palli bringing you the opportunity to demonstrate your creativity and expression through ARTs. This year the competition is open to public. Any current students of Pre-K to 12th grade from any school in Souther California can participate in this competition.

About
SpaceX made history on 30th May 2020, flying NASA astronauts Doug Hurley and Bob Behnken to space aboard its Crew Dragon spacecraft using a Falcon 9 rocket. This is the first time ever that humans have been aboard a SpaceX vehicle, from a private spaceflight company. This opens the new era of commercial space operations, making history on its way.

Rules
Topic: SpaceX - History Is Made
  1. Entries can be drawings, paintings, music, essays or poems in Tamil or in English.
  2. Competition is open to all current students of Pre-K to 12th Grade across the Southern California schools. Contents can be in Tamil or in English.
  3. Only one entry per student under one of the two categories, below 12 years and 12 years & above is allowed.
  4. Top three entries as judged by SDTP event committee under each category will receive $50, $30 and $20 respectively. An overall winner will be selected for the $75 price money. All decisions by the event committee are final. SDTP reserve the rights to use the entries for any school promotional activities with no further compensations to anyone participating the event.
  5. Over all winner may appear on the the cover of yearbook 2020, while all other winners may find a place in the yearbook.
  6. San Diego Tamil Palli keeps the rights to make any changes to the program with or without any further notifications.
  7. All entries must be submitted by 24th July 2020, 07:00 PM PST via email to "[email protected]". Mention in the email your full name, grade & school, and an optional short writeup about the entry.
